About Us

The GELERT company recently celebrated its 35 year anniversary and is now one of most recognised outdoor consumer brands having sold over 100 million products over that period. The company began life in the small village of Beddgelert, nestled in the heart of Snowdonia, North Wales. It was a family business then and it still is today with the Chairman, Alastair Langdon, still being heavily involved in the running of the company.

Living and breathing the great outdoors is practically part of the job description at GELERT, when we are not busy climbing, biking or canoeing in the mountains and the lakes of Snowdonia, you’ll find us back at GELERT creating excellent outdoor clothing and footwear for other people who love the outdoors.
