5 starsthis tent is ideal for us, 3 adults and 2 dogs, easy to erect, even with a strong gusty wind blowing!! good space in bedroom pods, the 3 doors are a bonus, just use whichever one suits {if wind direction changes, open a different door! simple} thanks for a great tent

4 starsNew tent purchased 3 weeks ago used last weekend for the first time. Lovely tent loads of room in the bedrooms. Love the large front window and two side openings with mesh. What we didn’t like was that there is no zip at the bottom of the large front door, and perhaps its us as we are not experienced campers but the dog managed to escape during the night, and she’s not even a young energetic dog she is 12 but still managed to get out on the first night. After that she had to sleep in the bedroom pod with us….Great !!

5 starsBrilliant tent. We needed a tent to house our “Teardrop Trailer”. With it’s heavy duty groundsheet, excellent headroom and fully opening front door the Lakesbury 5 is ideal. It stood up well to the heavy rain, strong gales and glorious sushine whilst we were camping in Cornwall in June 2011. The canopy gave us the obvious extra room and was also very secure once we had sussed out where to fasten the rear tie downs. The only disadvantage is that these restrict opening the side doors, but no big deal.

5 starsLove this tent, used it 2 years in a row now for 2 adults and 1 child. Taking it to a festival next weekend for 7 adults, just going to take the bedroom pods down and all sleep in the main tent. Lets see how that goes!!!

4 starsAn excellent tent that we purchased late last year. We have recently used it for two weeks in the Lakes (Borrowdale) with howling gales and very heavy continuous rain and it stood up perfectly. Two drawbacks though…
Water gets in over the side doors when open (we couldn’t use the front door due to the weather) and the window strips above the side doors are all but useless. I see that both these issues have been fixed in the latest version which is annoying as we cannot upgrade it for a while having had it less than a year but for future purchasers these additions will make an enormous difference to the comfort and usability of the tent in all conditions. We will be however adding the canopy to the tent for future holidays to allow use of the front door in adverse conditions.
