‘The fabric is waterproof and breathable of course, and there is a mesh lining inside to improve comfort. But it is the jacket’s design that is really impressive. Firstly it is a lot longer than most, so you don’t have to wear over trousers as readily, and you can get your hands into those base pockets while wearing a rucksack. The front zip gets a double stromflap and behind this there is a chest map pocket too. The hood has a wired peak, and it fits and moves reasonably well. The hood can be rolled away to the collar too. Add in good movement in the sleeves and you have a jacket that is ideal for general walking if you are on a tight budget.’ Trail Magazine – November 2010
